Haven't really thought of a great future lately since A levels left a mark on me. Basically I had a dream of studying abroad with scholarship when I had my 10 A's in SPM but that dream was broken into a million pieces when A levels results came out and I was devastated. Since 6 months ago, all I had in mind was to only be able to get a place in local public or private universities. But till now, I only had an offer for a twinning program in Melaka-Manipal Medical University for RM348 000 tuition fees and 2400 USD for accomodations which I cannot afford. So i turned down that offer eventhough I already have friends there which are Praba, Siong Keat and Samuel. Now, I'm still waiting for an offer from AIMST University situated in Kedah which is my one and only last hope now since USM turned me down.
I lost sight of what I wanted to be since A levels, but now I aim to be a doctor but still I have a small hope and a small window of light left. I really do hope I'm able to make it there by starting with an offer. The past weeks, I've received many news where my friends are going abroad to further their studies, be it in UK, Ireland, Indonesia or Australia. I really am happy for down, but deep down inside, I feel really sad. Sad because it would be years before I would be able to see them again but also sad because I'm not one of those who are going overseas. How wonderful it would be if I could be in their shoes. Well, first thing is I can't even afford it even if I have an offer from an overseas university.
Medicine overseas I think is an impossible idea but forensics science on the other hand is a possible idea. I found a university I think is suitable as it is situated right in front of Central Station of Sydney which I could take a train from my aunt's house. A wonderful idea but, I don't think I could afford a 4 year course including an Honours degree for about 90-100 000 AUD. Then my aunt came up with an idea that she would lend me money to study over there. At first thought, it is a wonderful thing to say and to be able to do it is a different thing because it's my dream to study abroad but it's not my passion which is medicine. Still Forensics Science is also another good field where I can spend my life doing. Still thinking about it and will be going to the counsellors at IDP to check it out.
Now my dilemma is, would I miss my life back here in Malaysia and most of all my family? I used to think that it is alright to leave them here and go study and I won't miss them at all. But due to recent events where I got really sick and down with tonsillitis, I woke up in the middle of the night and gave it a real deep thought. Who would look after me when I am sick? No more cozy bed, no more people washing and cooking for me. No more hugs, no more kisses. No mummy to do things for me when I don't feel like doing it. My things readily available for me here whenever I need it, but in hostel, I won't have much things to go around with. But to venture out and to be more independent than I already am, to be in a new environment and adapt it is my stronghold but could I?
My friends and my dearest friend, I would leave them behind. or would they leave me behind? Will miss them so much with a few in exception where I would miss them most! The luxury where I can meet up, chat, call, and sms them here, but if I study outstation of overseas, that luxury would be gone. Despite telling myself that if our friendship is true, it would last forever but I am really afraid that that friendship might fade due to the distance we have. There is also this problem with long term and distant relationship!Even if I do have someone I have feeling for I wouldn't think of telling that person because it is a matter of time where the relationship can end if it's a one sided thing. Unless that person truly loves me and I love him then it would last long. But is it possible? If it happens, it happens, but I wouldn't think too far now. All I want to do is to spend my last few months with my precious friends and family before I start studying. Something which is simple enough but not easy to do because everyone is busy with their own life and also they need to spend time with their own family.
This year is especially import and and different, henceforth I will try to make the best out of everything I do. Spend as much time as I can with family and friends. Take the opportunity to bond with them in anyway possible and not think anymore negative thoughts. What is going to happen in the future will happen because it is fate and God will decide what happens but, what is going to happen now and in the future is because of what I choose to do now. Think carefully and live life to the fullest!

Kuala Selangor Trip 2013
On 24th May 2013, we set out on a journey to Kuala Selangor. :) It was a cloudy but not rainy day. Just perfect for our journey. We started of sluggishly because planners do not know what they are doing and they intended to pair us randomly in cars which ended up useless.FAIL!!!! We ended up sitting in the car with people we prefer rather than randomly. You can call this grouping or have gangs but what is the point of sitting in a car for hours with people you do not 'click' with right? We had two cars. Onw with 5 and one with 4 people.
Car 1 : Carlson(driver), Melanie,Yen yee, Ken ren and Huang Ying in a Persona or whatever it is. LOL
Car 2 : Chee Lee(driver), Chit Fei, Stephanie and I.
Well, we were suppose to only have an hour long journey till we reach our destination but due to traffic jam in Kuala Selangor itself and also crazy GPS guiding us to God knows where, we took almost 2 and a half hours with low fuel.. Walao eh.. No petrol station on the way or miss the petrol station cause to busy looking at the roads to take. aiyoyoyo.. but I'm glad we ended up there safely and soundly... The jam was due to the Wesak Day festival on that day and everybody in town was going to temples. Be it chinese or indians. So the one way into town is to pass this jam sites..
We then stopped in the Town of Pasir Penambang in Kuala Selangor. Stephanie who goes there once every two months took us to buy Heong Piah which was very delicious and I'm looking forward to get more of it.. hahaha. Then she took us to restaurant for lunch in a very remote area where only locals and usual customers go. The food was splendid and was super cheap. I ate all that for only RM10.. In KL, I think it's about Rm50 per person.. And because one of our friend isn't all keen for seafood due to her allergies, we called for veggies and conventional taufu...

The view from the restaurant is actually quite serene except for the fact the river was murky and brown and there were plastics and coconuts floating by once in a while. hehe...
The night view is even more awesome which I will show you later.. hehe.. Now, after eating such an awesome meal we headed back to our cars and was later joined by
Car 3 : Wei Lek(driver), Sin Nee, Sheau Huei and Han Xing.
They joined us and we went to 3 different locations of the same beach. Remis Beach. The priceless expression on Ken Ren's face when he saw the 'clean' waters and the 'sandy' beach. hahaha. He was like what in the universe happened here? haha... And He mentioned.. 'GOOGLE MAP LIED TO ME!!!'. But in fact, we all know that Kuala Selangor does not have nice clean beaches and blue water. The water is murky grayish brownish greenish. I don't even know. Plus Carlson's GPS was even worse when his GPS pointed us to the middle of the sea~ The beach was full or sea shells than lined up perfectly like a wall but i's prickly. If not careful, we can hurt ourselves. We made a walk down the sea shore.....
There is also a very digusting monster in the sea water. It is very tiny, it bites, and it is a creepy crawley!!!arrrrr.. We dipped ONLY our feets in the water to just take a shot and also cool down. But we jumped right out of the water the second after the picture was taken because of some creepy crawling prawn like creatures crawled up out feet and started to bite us!! or eat us literally ate our skin!!!!!! Then we found this catfish being washed to shore where we were nearby and Wei Lek and Han Xing tried to take pictures of it but the waves kept pushing it back into the sea. Well, boys~ they kicked the fish up to shore and guess what? The creepy crawling insects which was biting us came crawling out of the DEAD catfish and bringing out it's intestines full of this insects. We scram and we jump up to shore where it was dry and far from the insects!!!!
We just left and went to another part of the beach where we didn't have to see those unfriendly creatures anymore. As we walked along the beach, we saw another 'friend' walking pass us! Mr Crab!!! hehe.. It was kinda lost and it was just trampling all over the place and finally it disappeared... We then reached the other side of the beach where we parked our car. We were trying to decide where else to go because it was only 4.00pm and we only needed to go to dinner later and then firefly after 8pm. And then somebody brought out a beach ball and we started to behave like 7 year old kids playing Monkey In the Middle. hahaha... People started staring at us but we didn't care.. You want to know why? it's because this is who we are. CHildish young adults with all the time in the world and we are trying to enjoy ourselves.. Some of us got trampled over, ball hitting people at places they shouldn't and yea, let nature take it's course. We really had fun until it started to rain.! haha.. We also had ice cream on the beach. tehehehehe... When it poured, we made our way back to the restaurant we had lunch earlier to have dinner! Because that place is just superb and we have no where else to go!! hahaha..
WHen I say the view is superb and awesome I mean it!!!
The dinner is even better than the lunch. In addition to the awesome view in the evening, the dinner was to die for.. hahaha. We had sweet and sour crab, steam egg and ginger crab, two types of veggies, one plate of beancurd, one plate of bamboo clam or also known as American Jacknife Clam, The afternoon's Mantis Shrimp for those who haven't tried, we also had Sotong(Calamari rings) in wet butter and curry sauce. They also served us with this very tasty Fried bread which we love!! wuaa.. finger licking good. I can't wait to go back there again withmy loved ones, be it family or future boyfriend(if i have any). I just love the place!
I ate to my heart's content there and was gobbling up the crab since the rest of them don't want to dirty their hands and some who weren't so close to us kinda kept to themselves. The rest of our gang were like who cares and were eating with all our fingers!! haha.. It's what being friends are about, you don't care how they eat but actually enjoy with them.. I only paid RM14 for the whole dinner where I had so much seafood. wuaaa... We had a group photo taken after the meal just before we left to see the fireflies... Plus you can see how much of seafood and how messy we are.. LOL
We then left around 7.30pm. The road was dark and scary as we made our way to Kampung Kuantan to see their Kelip-Kelip or also known as Fireflies. The journey was about 30 minutes away from the town of Pasir Penambang. Bur it is situated in and rural area where the road into the Village itself is very dark and surrounded by trees. It was really creepy and Steph decided to skip her way to another car so she left me alone in the back seat which makes me feel even more uneasy. hahaha.. When we reached there, we actually got down the car and rushed into the area where we get to buy our tickets as there were many people lining up and We were afraid that they might close up. haha. so silly of us.. The boat ride costs RM50 per boat where it can only fit 4 persons per boat. But there were 13 of us and for safety reasons we can't fit 5 small people in a boat. SO we had to take 4 boats instead of 3.. we split into our boat team where every team must have a boy. Despite the long queue, we managed to squeeze in and finished our ride by 9.00pm. hahaha.. The fireflies were located along the river on trees and it really does look like Christmas trees where the lights shimmer. I really hope to go there again with a person whom I truly treasure and treasures me and also enjoy looking at this magnificent creation of God. :) I tired to take pictures, but it only shows tiny little lighted spots on a black coloured background.

It was a great experience together but one last thing before we left. Chit Fei lost her I-phone 4 and we searched about an hour for it and it's gone. So beware of where you put your things and double check your pockets and all your belongings before you leave a place. Because once you lose it, it's goodbye. But at least she got to change her phone. tehehee...
It was a wonderful experience to be able to go all out and have fun. despite the hiccups and quarrels before and during and after trip, I still enjoyed it very much and Yes I still do love some of them very much. They will always be in my memory and hey will always be my best friends.. :)

A Teaching Experience
It's my first and last time officially teaching so many people. And it's an experience you don't get very often. Maybe to some people who have taught tuition in big groups feel that it is nothing but a job, but to me, it's an experience. Although I wasn't really happy working there due to some issues, I am really happy I got a bunch of students who appreciates me, a bunch of teachers who still loves me and a group of new friends whom I shall remember forever.
I learnt that not everything is based on the surface where everything is still and has no blemish. In contrast, when teaching, you have ensure that ALL students understand what you teach and be able to produce results after you teach them. Not the other way round, entering, teaching, bell ring, get out, exams, screw them! It's all about patience, understanding and more PATIENCE!
Basically, people tend to come to you over nothing to just talk to you and there was a creepy stalker student who stalked one of my colleague(another guru ganti). I can always see him going to her table to see if she is there but she is to nice to push him away. hahaha. but it's creepy. Although, I'm not user friendly~ LOL so usually they don't tend to do that but only my St, John kids are close to me and my 17 students from 3 Adil class because I'm their class teacher. Other than that, not many will be that close to me with exception also to 5 Alfa which I taught them Biology but also because I'm not a teacher but a senior to them. I've seen them since they were form 1 and suddenly I came back as a teacher which made them very surprised and shocked but they never called me teacher but they call me Miss Pauline.. haha... Some of them who were really close to me when I was in school just calls me by name when there is no one. It's like knowing this person for ages then suddenly I have to change calling this person something else~ very weird..
I've been through a lot these past 3 months~ And then came Teacher's Day right before my last day. You can say it's a boring day but also a day full of excitement which doesn't excites me.. haha. I've been through this for 5 years but this year is exceptionally different because this time teachers have to perform instead of the students which I thought was really nonsense. With that said, I had t perform twice~ once poem with singing and then singing~ luckily it was in groups so they din't have to laugh at my funny voice.. hahaha... Then I expected none of my students to give me anything because I was only there for a short while and most of them are not the present type of people and eventually proven right.. haha.. But some students who are not exactly my students gave me Teacher's Day present.. haha. Some form 1 St John kids whom I thought first aid came to me and gave me sweets, cards, pictures frames. candles and etc... And I was shocked and it made my day~ hahaa... i didn't know I made such and impact in their life that they'll remember me.. Then a few teachers gave me teacher's day present... So paiseh, I didn't give them anything in return...
Came my last two days and everyone hugging here and hugging there. Here belanja there belanja makan, making me even fatter.. aduiii.. But it was a good intention la... Teacher's belanaj makan... My 3 Adil Students had a surprise party but ask me to go thr with a lame excuse and you know me, I don't get surprised easily. plus I don't cry. I don't know why all my students tried to make me cry. But I just couldn't.. sorry mates.. haha... And the last day came, 3 Bakti girls were sweet too. they gave me a new phone cover which I'm not a fan of but it was thoughtful of them so I just took it so they won't be sad...
Yes I sort of did miss it but also relieved I finished my job.. Met amazing kids of this generation..*making myself sound old* lol. And had a good experience there. But it is my first and my last!!!
